All registered customers are listed here. We can add customers both from the Back Office and main Terminal Application. Customers that install the mobile app will also register and be automatically saved to this list.

Within each customer’s profile you’ll see a wealth of information. Name, contact information, delivery addresses, purchase history. You’ll also find their transaction history, order dates and times, receipts and awarded loyalty points. Their total collected points balance is available here.As well as in store, this customer can redeem their points on items through the mobile app. Using the Back Office functions described earlier, you can select which items can be redeemed, wholly or partially, with loyalty points. We’ll go into further detail in another video on how to set up the loyalty scheme system, including rules for how they’re awarded.

We can also filter the customer list using a range of different criteria such as age, points total, purchase total, gender and more. We can then add this filtered list into a specific group that we’ve created. Each customer can be added to multiple groups too, to cater for different targeted campaigns. That was how to manually create a group. The customers in this group will remain there, until they’re manually removed or the group is deleted.

YumaPOS can also create groups automatically based on your selected criteria. The automatic groups will also update themselves. For example, if a customer celebrates his or her 50th birthday they will automatically drop out of your 35-49 age group. Similarly, the day another customer turns 35, he or she will be added into this group without any manual input necessary. As another example, we can also make a group for male customers and a group for female customers. If John Smith downloads your app and registers, he’ll automatically go into your male group for the next male targeted promo campaign.Another type of example is to create three main customer groups: Standard, Gold and Platinum customers.

These groups are defined based on the total amount customers have spent in the store. The standard category is made up of customers with a total spend below 500 pounds. Gold customers between 500 and 2000 pounds. Platinum, over 2,000 pounds. When a client pays a receipt that takes them over a category threshold, for example 480 pounds to 515 pounds, he’ll be automatically moved from Standard to Gold.In the Marketing module, we can then set exclusive discounts and rewards for each group. For example 5% off for Standard, 7% off for Gold and 10% off for platinum. In summary, when building your first customer groups, keep in mind Summarizing all said about it is important to repeat that available clients records it is possible to filter and manually add into manual groups or create automatic groups which will sort out customers and place then into groups basing on terms. Both automatic and manual grouping means you’ll have a seamless experience creating targeted promotional campaigns to drive up revenues whilst rewarding your most loyal customers however you see fit.
